An interview with Jillian Johnsrud

The internet can be a pretty critical place. Say or do one wrong thing and people are ready to pounce, whether it's trivial or not. Heck, even when you create, say or do the right things there are people who are ready to tear you and your work down and make you feel bad. So what are we supposed to do?

How can we build up our own resilience and help our kids navigate the digital world?

Well in today's episode author Jillian Johnsrud shares insights and tips on what we can do.

Her new book  Fire the Haters: Finding the Courage to Create Online in a Critical World, helps creatives and entrepreneurs share their best work with others while learning constructive ways to deal with the various forms of online criticism.

After becoming financially independent at 32 years old, Jillian turned her personal and professional experience towards a creative life. She is a popular public speaker, online course creator, host of the Everyday Courage Podcast, and she's also a coach, and a writer.  She and her husband live in Montana, with their 5 kids and  travel often.
