Have you ever wanted to make cookies, but just didn’t have the time? What if you could prepare them in 5 minutes and bake them in just 10? Would you make them then?
I have to tell you about a tasty simple recipe that I’ve used quite a lot and that my family loves. And guess what… it actually takes just takes 5 minutes to prepare!
It calls for the following:
Ingredients
1 can of black beans
1/2 cup of nut butter (almond butter/ sunflower seed butter or tahini will do)
1/4 cup maple syrup (or honey)
1 tsp baking powder
2 tsp vanilla
1/2 cup chocolate chips
Instructions:
Make sure to grease a cookie sheet with heat stable oil or butter and preheat oven for 350 degrees F (or 177 degrees C)
- Place all the ingredients in a food processor or high powered blender (like a Vitamix) and blend until smooth
- Stir in chocolate chips
- Roll bean paste into balls or scoop out with a spoon onto a place on cookie sheet
- Place in oven for 10 minutes
- Let the cookies cool and then enjoy!
Note: Make sure to let the cookies cool before eating them as they can be overly soft and mushy before cooling. You can place these cookies in a container for the day or in the fridge for up to a week. Enjoy!
