An interview with Brooke Cates
Finding one’s calling doesn’t always happen in ways we’d expect. Moms are often made to choose between a flourishing family life or career. Ambitious mamas are sometimes labeled as selfish when in fact they should be supported. Balance is often seen as unattainable and mom guilt is often present regardless of what decisions a mother makes.
In today’s interview Brooke Cates talks about how she found her calling, her views on why balance is possible and why we need to “walk through the muck” in order build stronger relationships with others and ourselves.
Brooke Cates is the CEO and Founder of The Bloom Method @thebloommethod, a global pre+ postnatal fitness method and app. Brooke created The Bloom Method with a desire to empower women before, during, and after pregnancy while slashing narratives that tend to create disempowering outcomes for mothers. She is a Prenatal and Postnatal Exercise Specialist, Core Rehabilitation Specialist, Prenatal and Postnatal Holistic Health Coach and thought leader in the pre and postnatal wellness space.
