A Journey To Loving & Caring For Oneself A Journey To Freedom

Krista O’Reilly-Davi-Digui Post

An interview with Krista O’Reilly-Davi-Digui

Krista O’Reilly-Davi-Digui is a writer and the founder of A Life in Progress & The Brave and Beautiful Community and in this episode we discuss how perfectionism, comparison and the fear of not being good enough can often hold people back from experiencing the beauty life has to offer.

It can often make people think that they aren’t beautiful, lovable and worthy as they are. That if they just make more, do more and are everything they strive to be (or that others expect them to be), that then they’ll reach a state of happiness later.

But the thing is, learning to release negative self-talk and self doubt in the present matters. Being present to both the joy, pain, messiness and beauty that exists in life and ourselves, allows us to realize that they can co-exist. It’s okay for us to feel our emotions, address them and move forward, while stepping into our purpose.

In this heartfelt conversation, Krista talks about what it means to be both present to beauty and pain, how to silence negative self-talk and the journey to truly loving and caring for oneself.

Prior to starting A Life In Progress she home-schooled her children for 15 years and now works as a writer and Joyful Living Educator at alifeinprogress.ca. She helps messy humans like herself quiet the noise of comparison, perfectionism, and fear and show up fully to their imperfect and beautiful lives in every season.

So make sure to tune in.
